Legislative Profile First time Member of Parliament (Fifth National Council 2018-2020) for Kavango-West region, member of the SWAPO Party since 1 April 1988. He served as a member of Namibia National Teachers’ Union (NANTU) from 1982 -2008. From 2010-2014 he was a member of SWAPO Party District Executive Committee. In 2011-2012 he was he served as the SWAPO Party Branch and Information and Mobilization Officer for Ncamagoro Constituency while in 2013 he was the SWAPO Party District and Information Officer for Kapako Constituency. He was a SWAPO Party District Coordinator for Ncamagoro Constituency, a position he held from 2014. He was also a Board Member of the Roads Authority since 2015. Hon. Sikondo was sworn-in as Member of the 5th National Council in May 2018, and was in his second term at the time of his death in September 2021.  The late Hon. Sikondo served as a member of the Standing Committee on Urban and Rural Development until 2020.
