Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Prof. Peter Katjavivi has facilitated the donation of two wheelchairs to two beneficiaries who are among a group of Namibians who fled the country to Botswana in 1964 for fear of persecution.

Many of these Namibians who have been repatriated, endured hardship and are now both aged and frail and require special care. The Donation, received from Ohorongo cement as part of its social responsibility programme is part of a large consignment of wheel chairs, walking frames and nursing wheel chairs donated to the Ministry of Health and social services worth over 1 million Namibia dollars.

Hon. Katjavivi thanked Ohorongo for their benevolence, urging for more cooperation in future.
