The committee is visiting the two regions of Otjozondjupa and Omaheke from 15 - 19 May 2023, to among others, assess productivity at resettlement farms, ascertain whether there is any support offered by government in terms of financing and training and the role played by resettlement farmers to create jobs and boost food self-sufficiency as part of efforts to alleviate poverty.

Pro-life and pro-choice proponents in Khomasdal constituency air their opinions on the contentious issue of wether to legalise or not legalise abortion. Three petitions were received by the National Assembly on the contentious issue of whether to legalize or not legalize abortion in Namibia, as well as call to liberalize or reform Namibia's current Abortion and Sterilization Act No. 2 of 1975.

So far, the Committee has held public hearings in Windhoek with petitioners, line ministries, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, public hearings have been held in 13 regions.
