Theme: “Capacitating Parliaments towards realizing Agenda 2063:The role of Parliaments in the age of knowledge based economy”.
It gives us great pleasure to welcome the Clerks and staff of Parliaments of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association – Africa Region to Windhoek for the 3rd SoCATT Professional Development Seminar.
The development agenda of SoCATT African region is aimed at improving the capacity of Parliaments to ensure the realisation of Africa’s development strategy, Agenda 2063. Thus, this year’s seminar aims to harness the delegate’s understanding and knowledge of the 4th Industrial Revolution in order to determine strategies and develop context-specific capacity building programmes for African Parliaments in the knowledge based economy.
