Mandate

The function of this Committee is:

  1. To draft and codify the Standing Rules and Orders relating to the procedure of the Council as well as the Joint-Rules which shall be observed in the House and all its Committees.
  2. To review and consider from time to time and report to the House any proposal for amendment of these Rules.
  3. To assign any Committee to look into specific issues and submit a report thereon, with recommendations, for submission to the Council for consideration.
  4. To formulate policies and guidelines for the internal matters of the Council; and
  5. To perform any other functions as may be referred to it by the Council.
