Omatako Constituency Councillor, Hon. Israel Hukura, was sworn in on Wednesday as a new Member of the National Council, pledging to be a strong advocate for the voiceless.He fills the vacancy left by Swapo MP, Hon. Elder Fillipe, who joined the National Assembly earlier this year. Following his confirmation, Hon. Hukura committed to addressing critical challenges facing Namibians, including drought, hunger, and unemployment. He emphasized that his legislative approach would be both consultative and inclusive, ensuring that the concerns of marginalised and vulnerable communities are heard and prioritised at the national level.Hon.
