Functions of the Committee are to:

  1. Monitor, enquirer into and make recommendations to the National Assembly on matters that may directly or indirectly affect the economy, natural resources and public administration of the Republic of Namibia and its people.
  2. Operate with a vision to promote economic development, natural resources management and public administration.
  3. Review and advice the National Assembly on the activities and matters related to State-Owned Enterprises.
  4. Enquirer into and monitor international protocols, conventions and agreements that may affect the Namibian economy, natural resources and public administration and make recommendations where necessary to the National Assembly.
  5. Receive directives and monitor the implementation of Public Administration Laws in Namibia.
